Royals Saga series by Geneva Lee

When he kissed me, I was shocked. He was a stranger and still so familiar. It wasn't until I woke up to my picture splashed on the cover of tabloids that I realized I knew who he was.

Prince Alexander of Cambridge.

Royal bad boy.

Exiled heir to the throne.

He isn't Prince Charming. He's controlling. He's demanding. He's dangerous. And I can't say no to him.

We both have secrets—secrets that could tear us apart or drive us closer together—and as the paparazzi exposes each one, I have to decide just how far I'm willing to go for King and Country.

For readers 18 and up due to mature, erotic scenarios.

Unwritten by Melody Grace ~ Review

Unwritten (Beachwood Bay, #7)

Unwritten by Melody Grace
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed Unwritten. It was nice to get back to Beachwood Bay and all the characters I’ve loved from the past books in this series. Unwritten is book seven in the series and still as good as the rest.

Unwritten centers on Tegan’s best friend Zoey and her brother Blake. Zoey has been in love with Blake for years. Finally, one New Year Zoey decides to see if the connection she feels to Blake is only one sided. With one kiss everything changes between Zoey and Blake.

Blake is back in Beachwood Bay working on a low budget movie, what he wasn’t expecting was Zoey to be working on it too. The more time they start to spend together the more their feelings for each other grow, only one problem, Blake. He kept letting his head get in the way of his heart.

My only problem with the story was Blake, he was so hot and cold most of the book. It really ticked me off because I liked Zoey. She was a sweet girl and was always rooting for him to successes, but he couldn’t get over his own insecurities.

Unwritten is a nice addition to the Beachwood Bay/Callahan’s series. It’s a fast read with some steam, humor and that will leave you with a smile on your face.

Review~ The Deal by Elle Kennedy

The Deal (Off-Campus, #1)

The Deal by Elle Kennedy
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5+++++ Loved Garrett Stars

Major gushing ahead because I freaking loved this book!!!!

I think I found a new favorite series and it’s the Off-Campus series. From start to finish I didn’t want to put this book down. I know the story line is one I’m sure a lot of people have already read in the New Adult genre but for me it was the characters that gave this story so much life. The Deal was finally a story where I wasn’t annoyed with either of the main characters throughout the book. Elle Kennedy did a great job of creating two characters that were real and likeable, even though they were flawed just like everyone else. Hannah Wells is the shy, quiet wall flower and Garrett Graham is the cocky star hockey player that are total opposites, but together they are perfect for each other and Elle did a great job of making that believable.

The Deal had everything I love in a book, witty banter, steam, humor, (for those who have read it the locker room scene killed me. I laughed so hard during that) serious subject matter and a whole lot of heart. Plus there was Garrett Graham, that guy was so hard not to like, he was cocky but yet sweet and wouldn’t take no for an answer. I think I found a new guy to add to my book boyfriend list.

For those who are a fan Jennifer L. Armentrout’s Wait for You series, then I really think you would like this book too. Even though the stories are different they have the same kind of feel to them. I’m so happy I picked up this book!

Out~ Stealing Rose by Monica Murphy

We're celebrating the release of STEALING ROSE by Monica Murphy! Check out the excerpt below!

STEALING ROSE (The Fowler Sisters #2) by Monica Murphy
Adult Contemporary Romance
Books-a-Million: http://bit.ly/17yNfVe

Blurb:
People say the youngest child has it easy, but nothing can be further from the truth. Unlike my two sisters, Violet and Lily, I’m never in the limelight. I just work my butt off for Fleur Cosmetics and get little to no thanks for it. I’ve been pushed too far one too many times, and I’m finally brave enough to do something about it.

Maybe my newfound courage has something to do with the amazing pink and white diamond necklace I wear to the party in Cannes. The instant those dazzling heirloom jewels touch my skin, they excite some deep, aching need inside. And when that guy—that totally gorgeous guy—locks eyes with me, I know this nice girl is going to be naughty.

For once it’s my turn. My turn to say no to my father, to outshine my sisters, to walk away from it all—straight into the arms of a mysterious stranger. But what if Caden is much more than I bargained for? Sure, he makes me feel sexy and free in a way I never have before, but there’s something else I can’t quite place—something dangerous. Maybe our “chance” meeting wasn’t so random. Maybe he was looking for me for a reason. Whatever his motive, there’s no going back now.

And maybe I don’t want to.
EXCERPT:

I sit on the edge of the mattress, not about to give up. I need to get closer to her and eventually get closer to that damn neck- lace she wore. Dexter wants it. He’s been hounding my ass for it. And I’ll get it.

Eventually.

I’d rather focus on her first. Earn her trust. So I’m not casing out her hotel room. I’m not looking for any stray jewelry lying around.

Hell, I’m in too deep now.

I’m here with Rose because I want to be, not because I want to steal something from her.

Yet. Don’t forget the “yet” part at the end of that last thought.
Yeah. Who wants to focus on trying to steal a necklace when I could be sliding back into bed with her? I want to feel the hot, tight clasp of her pussy milking my cock again. I want to feel her touch me, feel her lips on my skin, hear her moan when I hit a spot that feels particularly good. I want to learn all of those spots, memorize them for later. Because there will be a later for Rose and me. I plan on that. And she’d better plan on it too, no matter how much in denial she is.

“Rose.” She turns to look at me, her expression wary. Guarded. I know the feeling. More than anything, I know that look. I’ve been wearing the same guarded expression pretty much all my life. I trust no one. They’re all out to screw me over; it doesn’t matter who they are. I’ve become so good at playing the part, of being whoever I need to be at any given moment, I have no idea who the real me is anymore.

Being with Rose is the closest I’ve felt to myself since I don’t know when. I want to explore this. Explore what we share, what she makes me feel, what we are when we’re together.

She’s ready to kick me out and I’m ready to cling. Talk about a total role reversal. I need to get my head back on straight and focus.

“Caden.” She matches my tone, watching me expectantly. When I don’t say anything she rolls her eyes. “Do you realize I don’t even know your last name? What does that say about me, that I’d let you into my room and—fool around with you for hours and I don’t know your last name? It’s appalling behavior.”

“Appalling behavior? You sound like a crabby old school- teacher.” I want to laugh but I don’t. She’s dead serious. I think she’s just shocked herself with what we’ve done.

I’ve shocked myself too, but in a good way. While she acts like we’ve committed the ultimate sin.

“You wouldn’t understand.” She averts her head as if it pains her to look at me and I move closer to her, reaching out to tuck a stray strand of hair behind her ear.

“It’s Kingsley,” I murmur, wishing I could kiss her. Comfort her. But that’s not happening, not yet. I’ve got to take it slow.

She turns, a little gasp escaping her when she discovers how close I am. “What?”

“My last name. It’s Kingsley.”

“Are you serious? Of course it is.” She tosses her hands up in the air, making her breasts jiggle, and I jerk my gaze away from her chest.

Five minutes until the interview begins.

Fresh on the heels of her college graduation, Cameron Heart has landed an interview at a prestigious architecture firm.

Four minutes until the interview.
She knows she’s only there because the owner, Grayson Cole, is her older sister’s friend.
Three minutes.
For the last seven years, Grayson has been the most intimidating man Cammie has ever had the pleasure, or displeasure, of being around.
Two Minutes.
But the job opportunity is too good to pass up. So, Cammie will have to ignore the fact that Grayson is handsome enough to have his own national holiday.
One.
After all, she shouldn’t feel that way about her new boss. And, he will be her new boss.

“I’m not scared of you,” I said with a confident smile.
“Perhaps we should fix that, Ms. Heart. Close the door.”

I paused just outside of the front doors and took a deep breath, trying to get my bearings. I was twenty minutes early for my interview. My outfit was still wrinkle-free. My pad-folio was filled with extra copies of my resume and reference letters, and I’d rehearsed every possible question that Grayson Cole would ask:
Greatest weakness? My inability to settle for anything less than what I deserve. I’m stubborn and persistent.
The honest answer? My inability to overcome my schoolgirl crush on you even though you’re a self-righteous ass.
I would NOT be giving him the honest answer.
I am a lover of books, chocolate, reality TV, black labs, and cold weather. Seriously, if I had it my way, I would be curled up on the couch with all of those things... everyday.
I live in Texas where I spend my free time writing and reading. My favorite authors include Mindy Kaling & Jonathan Safran Foer. I'm a comedy geek and love all things "funny". Women like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Mindy Kaling are definitely the biggest inspirations for my writing, though I think my work tends to skew a bit smuttier than theirs.

The Design by R.S. Grey ~ Review

The Design

The Design by R.S. Grey
My rating:

3.5 Stars

The Design is a witty new romance by R.S. Grey and part of A Heart Novel series. You can read The Design as a stand-alone (I did) but if you don’t want to know about the couple from the previous book The Duet, I would recommend ready that first because Brooklyn and Jason show up a lot.

Cameron Heart has just landed the job of her dreams at one of the top architecture firms in L.A. The only problem is that the company is owned by the man she has had a crush on for years, Grayson Cole. Cammie is all for getting Grayson to see her as a hot adult and Grayson does everything he can not to see Cammie. With these two working so closely together, it become hard to fight off the growing feelings for each other.

My only issue with The Design was that I never felt a connection to Cammie or Grayson or the connection between them. There didn’t seem to be any real chemistry between the two characters.
Grayson attraction to Cammie seemed to come out of left field; there was no hint that he might feel more for Cammie then friendship.

I haven’t read The Duet but for those who have will be happy to know that Brooklyn and Jason are back. I did really like Brooklyn; she was an feisty overprotective sister.
